Our company registration packages start from N$1,750 for a Close Corporation (Essentials package). Our Standard package is N$2,100 and includes additional compliance certificates, while our Premium package at N$2,600 includes the full suite of compliance documentation. View our Packages page for the full breakdown.
Processing times vary depending on the Business and Intellectual Property Authority (BIPA) workload, but typically range from 5 to 15 working days for a Close Corporation and slightly longer for a (PTY) Ltd. We handle the entire process on your behalf and keep you updated throughout.
VAT registration is mandatory in Namibia if your taxable supplies exceed N$500,000 in any 12-month period. Voluntary registration is also possible below this threshold. We advise all our clients on their VAT obligations and handle the full registration and ongoing compliance process.
For a Close Corporation, you typically need: a proposed company name (we assist with the defensive name search), certified copies of members' ID documents, member addresses, and details of the business activities. For a (PTY) Ltd, additional documentation is required. We provide a full checklist upon engagement.
A Close Corporation (CC) is simpler and cheaper to register, with fewer compliance requirements - ideal for small businesses with up to 10 members. A Private Company (PTY) Ltd has more formal governance requirements and is better suited for businesses seeking investment, multiple shareholders, or a more corporate structure. We can advise which is right for you.
The SSC is Namibia's social insurance fund covering maternity leave, sick leave, and death benefits. All employers in Namibia are legally required to register with the SSC and make monthly contributions for each employee. Failure to register is a legal offence. We handle SSC registration as part of our company registration packages.
An SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) Certificate is issued by the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB). It is increasingly required when applying for government tenders and procurement opportunities. We handle the full application process as part of our Premium package and also as a standalone service.
